What is the Move Well Project?
Check out our video below for examples:
The Move Well Project is a sub-clinical, drug free system to improve quality of movement and manage the causes of chronic pain. Many traditional methods of medicine and therapy are amazingly effective for acute medical conditions but fall short of effectively managing lower level (though often debilitating) chronic conditions brought on by the demands of daily life.
The Move Well Project starts with a comprehensive biomechanical assessment of each client identifying their mobility and stability limitations. From there the client receives a tailored management programme for them to follow to address these limitations. Often within a few sessions clients report dramatically reduced pain and learn how to manage their own pain. Please have a look at the testimonials section here to see success stories of clients managing a wide variety of conditions.
The Move Well Project differs from Physiotherapy and other traditional therapies by taking a full body assessment of all clients, not focusing simply on the areas of pain that are often the result of deferred pain from dysfunction in other areas of the body.

I'm a Mobility Practitioner and Exercise Referral Specialist and specialise in working with people who have injuries and chronic pain that is, as far as the medical community is concerned, managed already but where the person is unhappy with the result.
This could mean you are using long term prescription medication and as far as your doctor is concerned you are well enough to go about daily life, but you want to be able to come off that medication and function normally without it. It could be that you have seen a physio and been discharged as rehabilitated and yet still have ongoing problems and pain that you would like to manage better.
I have seen great success with many clients who have been able to stop using opiate painkillers they had used with negative side effects for several years even where they had not managed to come off the drugs when working with a physiotherapist, osteopath, chiropractor, acupuncturist etc.
I have also been lucky enough to have been asked to present my methods to physiotherapists, sports therapists and exercise professionals to help them develop their practice in improving movement with their patients and clients.
